Snapdragon : Perennial flower cultivated as an annual, also called "Dragon Mouth" snapdragon is an annual flowering plant. They have vertical flower spikes, with fragrant blossom heads in a wide assortment of bright colors. If you gently pinch the flower she will open and you can notice the jaws of a dragon with a fuzzy tongue. Blossoms tend to drop off shortly after being fertilized. Used in beddings, on borders, pots, and cutflowers for flower arrangements. Cut faded flowers which will prolong their flowering period.
