The Giant Radish of Sicily: Variety with hairy leaves with nonprickly root, does not growholes easily in the root, firm flesh, crunchy with a soft flavor, it is one of the variety which can be sown all season around. Consume them uncoocked, with "aperitif crunch-with-salt" or with bread and butter. The fans make great soups very tasty. The radish is rich in vitamins B and C and fibers.
