Salpiglossis: It is an annual plant with large and elegant velvety flowers of mixed colors, exquisitely penciled or curiously marbled. The funnel shaped flowers bloom upright upon slender and strong branches, their flower strongly recalls those of the petunia. Excellent plant for your greenhouses, verandas or pots on a wind protected terrace. It is a flower easy to cultivate, its principal needs are heat, light, sun, and a well drained ground. Water regularly. You can make them bloom in summer or winter according the date of sowing.
