The oregano: Hardy perennial herb, its perfume varies according to the areas where it is cultivated, the flowers and the leaves are used for seasoning. Perfect container plant. Collect the leaves of the origan all summer, once they are dried leaves retain very flavourfull. Oregano seasons pizza pies, fish, and grilled vegetables. In the garden, it's used as ground-covers.

Sowing instructions: Seed sowing in spring in open ground in a light and ventilated soil, prefers a sunny and wind-sheltered place, cover the seeds with a fine layer of potting soil, transplant as soon as the seedlings are sufficiently developed. For a better harvest you can to sow out the seeds in a tray, on the surface of potting soil of a good quality and cover these with siol or vermiculite (vermiculite let's pass light which helps the germination). Keep sowings at a temperature from 15 to 20 °C and take care to maintain the compost wet. Transplant out of pot of 8 cm, as soon as plant feels crowded in its pot. Don't hesitate to cut back the adult plant after flowering to obtain a compact port. Excellent container plant.
