The Melon Pinonet Piel de Sapo: Late variety cultivated for its long and oval fruit with the marbled cream and green skin resembling a frog. The flesh is soft, white, very sweet and juicy, refreshing. Melon are characterized by a great source of vitamins. The generally got whole leaves slightly lobed, grows as a vine. Store in a cold, well ventilated place up to 6 or 8 days. The melon is consumed  in desserts or also for snacks.

Seed sowing: From Mars to the end of May

Height: The Melonplant reaches on average 80cm

Sowing instructions: Seed sowing directly in place after any danger of frosts, sow 4 to 6 seeds in holes in a depth of 2 to 3cm, the melon prefers a sheltered site and quite sunny in your garden, water the ground even if it rains. Thin out 3 seedlings after seven weeks. It is also possible to cultivate under greenhouse for an earlier harvest. Eliminate the leaves masking the fruits to allow them to mature correctly. The sign of maturity of the melons is easy to check, it stalk must be detached easily from the fruit, if you feel any resistance wait a litte more.
