The leek long large of summer 2: Variety for a autumn harvest with a long stem supporting only soft winter aereas for harvest in winter, therefore this variety is hold for an autumn harvests in the winter cold areas. The leek is one of the vegetables you can have all year long in your garden, it is enough to have a late variety as well as a semi late variety to benefit from this vegetable all year long and harvested when needed from your garden.

Seed sowing: From January to May
Collect leeks: From June to April
Height: The leeks reach 80 cm
Exposure: Sunny

Sowing instructions: Sow seeds in seedbeds from January to March or directly in place from March to May approximately 1 cm from depth, tamp slightly.  Then transplant in place from April to August, or as soon as the leeks have the size of a pencil, think of cutting the foliage to allow a better rooting. In general the more deep you transplant the leek the more you will obtain a white stem, you can also use the method of successive ridging.
