-First use all sanitary precautions,
wash you hands, and clean all your ustensils in a mild desinfectant or flame
them. Keep KEIKIBOOST away from eyes, skin and children.
Store at room temperature (around 20°C), and use within one year of purchase.
Before starting anything, work with clean and disinfected ustensils,
do not forget to wear plastic gloves, we
are dealing with hormones.
You need:
An orchid of course, a cutting tool (scalpel, rasor blade, cutter etc...), a
tooth pick or forceps.
Keiki initiation will be better if : you apply KEIKIBOOST one week at least
after the last flower fell, apply KEIKI on the lower nodes only or if you want
to higher your chance for a flower spike, then apply KEIKIBOOST to the upper
nodes.

Now you need to make a lateral cut on the left side of
the bract, be careful not to harm the meristem or the flower spike behind it. |

Make the same cut on the right side. |
 |
Take you toothpick and slide it behind the bract. |
 |
Pull the bract with a movement going down and towards you
at the same time. |
 |
Remove the bract completely. |
 |
Then apply KEIKIBOOST lightly with your toothpick on the
meristem and be carefull not to harm it, since your wear gloves you can rub
KEIKIBOOST to get it on uniformly. |

Well, you are finished, clean and desinfect your tools
and throw away the disposable ustensils. Now you will need to wait to
know if you will have a Keiki or a new flower spike. |
After about two weeks you
should see some activity where you applied KEIKIBOOST, you will see like a
little green mass,it is still too early to say if it will be a Keiki or a new
flower spike.
You will need a couple a month before being able to see if it will be a keiki or a
flower spike.
