Greek Basil: Very fine variety from Italy, with small leaves, very aromatic and a delicious strong sent , this strain forms a bush in the shape of a ball. Very well for potplants, flowerstands on balconys and in open ground. The basil badly tolerates temperatures with the lower part of 10°C. The basil can be frozen or dried but it loses most of its flavor.

Sowing instructions: Sowing in seedbed beginning of March and transplant 60 to 90 days later. Carefull with watering, too much water and you risk the desease of cast iron. Seed sowing directly in place after any danger of frosts are isolated until May. To clear out or transplant basil 2 to 3 months after sowing 25 to 30 cm. Basil can be also sown all year long, from the moment its protected and you respects the temperatures sufficient for his germination.
