The Romanesco Fennel: Medium to early variety. The heart is round, medium sized, compact and entirely white. They are crunchy, and of a soft licorice flavor. The leaves are finely cut out and green, if you wrinkle them between your fingers they release an anise like odor. Fennel is rich in vitamin and fiber, and mainly used raw or cooked.

Sowing instructions: Seed sowing directly in place from June to July in a rich soil well composted, sow at a depth of 4 to 5 cm. Maintain the soil wet until germination. Cover the bulb with soil to preserve its whiteness. Progressively collect in autumn when needed.
