Question : How long
can I use KeikiBoost ?
Answer : Our products come with a one year warranty, but it is well known
that keikipaste can be utilized for a longer time.
Question : How many
application can I make with KeikiBoost ?
Answer : This will depends on the node size, but average application count is
around a hundred.
Question : On how many
buds can I apply KeikiBoost ?
Answer : On an adult plant in good health : 2 to 3 nodes seems ok.
Question : On which
node should I apply KeikiBoost ?
Answer : This will depend what you want to obtain, the lower nodes are usually
used to produce Keikis and the upper nodes are usually used to produce a new
flower stalk. But there has been no research done to tell if there is any
influence on this with the application of keikipaste. (as far as I know).
Question : When can I
separate the keiki from the mother plant ?
Answer : As soon as the Keiki has 3 to 4 roots from a size of 2cm, the Keiki can
be separate from the mother plant and potted.
Question : How
long does it take to the orchid to flower ?
Answer : This will depend on the variety and the care you will give to your
plant and also the growing conditions, cloning an orchid by Keiki is one of the
quickest way to obtain a new orchid, 1 or 2 year is common. Don't forget the
flowering process is tiring for the young, so it is preferable to cut the flower
stalk when the first flowers are open and put it in a vase. Some Big orchid
collector cut the flower stalk to preserve the mother plant.
