The Carrots Nantes 2: Early variety well very known and appreciated by the farmers. The perfectly cylindrical, smooth and brilliant root of red orange color, with a thin heart of the same color. During years its quality and its uniformity were a guarantee of results. Cultivates itself in a fresh aired ground well worked, even the clay soils can be appropriate for this variety. Sowing instructions: Sow carrot seeds directly in place as soon as any danger of frost is drawn aside, you can sow them earlier under frame or tunnel. Sow from 2 to 3 cm of depth in a well worked soil and space the rows from 20 to 30 cm, clear up every 8 cm after the liftings. Once the carrots are at maturity unearth them with the fork, keep the fans for a longer conservation. If you wish to consume carrots all winter long, just cut to the top of the collet and store covered with sand in a cellar or outside in a silo out of freezing.
