The Carrot Autumn King 2 : Variety for the winter season resistant to cold, long conical roots, the flesh is red color until heart. Cultivate in a fresh well worked soil even clay soil can be appropriate to this variety. Compact soils are not recommended for carots, the roots will tend to be put in forks. Prevent against carrot fly.

Sowing instructions: Sow carrot seeds directly in place as soon as any danger of frost is drawn aside, can be sown very early under frame or tunnel. Sow from 2 to 3 cm of depth in an well worked soil and space the rows from 20 to 30 cm, clear up every 8 cm after liftings. Once carrots are ready to harvest use a fork, keep leaves on the carrot for a longer conservation. If you wish to store carrots all winter long, just cut the leaves above the carrot and store them covered with sand in a cellar or outside in a silo.
