The Carrots Amsterdam 2: Early variety with fine and perfectly cylindrical, smooth and brilliant roots of intense orange color, with a thin heart of the same color. Very much used in the new kitchen like Mini vegetables. Cultivates in a aired soil, fresh and well worked, even clay soils can be appropriate to him. Soils compact are not recommended, the roots will tend to be twisted.

Sowing instructions: Sow carrot seeds directly in place as soon as there is no more risk of frosting, you can also sow them earlier under glass or tunnel for early harvest. Sow from 2 to 3 cm deep in a well worked soil and 20 to 30 cm rows, thin seedlings carefully every 8 cms apart when large enough to handle. Once the carrots are mature harvest them with their leaves for a longer conservetion. If you want to eat them all winter long just cut the leave off just above the carrot and store them covered with sand in a cellar.
