Carnation Barbatus: Hardy perennial under soft climate and cultivated like biannual elsewhere. The brilliant little flowers have fringed petals of mixed colors, and very sweetly scented. Makes a nice cut flower, and also used for borders, mass plantings and meadows. An ideal spring flower.

Sowing instructions: Seed sowing under frame or minis greenhouses in May to August with a temprature of 21 °C, transplant seedlings in September directly in place. Install the Carnations in groups, to create large mass. Carnations Barbatus will flower next spring. Remove faded flowers to allow a new inflorescence.
