Beet Root Egypt : An early variety with dark green little foliage, the plant produces a flat rounded globe shaped root with blackish-red flesh of excellent taste.The leaves got red veins and also of nutritional value containing beta-carotine. Absolutely perfect in salades, or for a deliciously refreshing beet soup. Beetroots are very low on calories, and a great source of fibre.
