The Asters Ostrich Feather: Long lasting, large double blooms with long feathery recurving petals are borne on tall stems. Annual plant, flowering from late spring to October. Remove dead flowers to prolong flowering and provide support for the heavy flowerheads.

Sowing instructions: 1.) Seed sowing from Mars to June in pots or trays, maintainsoil moist and a temperature of 18 °C, transplant as soon as the plants are easy to handle if sowing in pots, to continue in pots to leave them at a temperature from 10 to 15 °C until the final transplant. You can set them in open ground as from May. 2.) You can begin sowings in February for an early flowering. To avoid cultivating them 2 years in the same place, asters need a rich soil.
